The Asian Games Volleyball — Women 2026 continues on 20 September with six matches across two venues in Aichi, Japan, headlined by a meeting between Vietnam and China at Park Arena Komaki. Here is the match-day picture for every fixture.
Thailand vs Indonesia (08:00, Park Arena Komaki, Aichi, Japan):
Thailand and Indonesia have met three times in recent months, and each encounter has gone Thailand's way — a 3-0 win at the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Continental Championship on 24 August, a 3-0 win at the 2026 SEA Women's V Cup on 8 August, and a 3-1 win on 31 July in the same competition. Thailand arrive in Aichi off three straight 3-0 wins at these Asian Games, against Chinese Taipei, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. Indonesia beat Nepal 3-0 on 17 September before falling 3-1 to Japan a day later, and in late August they were beaten 3-1 by Iran at the continental championship.
Vietnam vs China (11:00, Park Arena Komaki, Aichi, Japan):
China and Vietnam last met on 28 August at the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Continental Championship, where China won 3-0. Vietnam come into this fixture having beaten Hong Kong, China 3-0 and Qatar 3-0 at the Asian Games before a 3-1 loss to South Korea on 18 September. China opened their campaign with a 3-0 win over the Philippines and followed it with a 3-0 win over Kazakhstan on 18 September.
Kazakhstan vs South Korea (14:00, Park Arena Komaki, Aichi, Japan):
Kazakhstan opened the Asian Games with a 3-1 win over the Philippines before a 3-0 loss to China on 18 September, and in late August they were beaten 3-1 by Thailand at the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Continental Championship. South Korea have recorded three consecutive wins in Aichi, beating Hong Kong, China 3-0, Qatar 3-0 and Vietnam 3-1.
Nepal vs Kyrgyzstan (14:00, Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Gymnasium, Aichi, Japan):
Nepal have opened their Asian Games campaign with two straight-set defeats, 3-0 to Japan and 3-0 to Indonesia. Kyrgyzstan have likewise dropped all three of their matches so far, falling 3-0 to Chinese Taipei, 3-0 to Thailand and 3-0 to Mongolia.
Philippines vs Qatar (17:00, Okazaki Chuo Sogo Park Gymnasium, Aichi, Japan):
The Philippines began the tournament with a 3-0 loss to China and a 3-1 loss to Kazakhstan, with a 3-1 win over Czechia at the FIVB Volleyball Girls' U17 World Championship in mid-August preceding their Asian Games schedule. Qatar have lost all three of their matches in straight sets, to Vietnam, South Korea and Hong Kong, China.
Japan vs Chinese Taipei (17:20, Park Arena Komaki, Aichi, Japan):
Japan and Chinese Taipei met on 27 August at the 2026 AVC Women's Volleyball Continental Championship, where Japan won 3-0. Japan have won both of their Asian Games matches so far, 3-0 against Nepal and 3-1 against Indonesia. Chinese Taipei have won two of three in Aichi, beating Kyrgyzstan 3-0 and Mongolia 3-0 before a 3-0 loss to Thailand on 18 September.
